SearchStax, a website search SaaS, needed to show what a good search page looks like and find opportunities to improve site search experiences.
Research & Planning
Working with the sales and customer success teams, I identified several opportunities to analyze and measure site search effectiveness. I created the Search Experience Test to give sales and business development teams a tool to audit search pages and demonstrate how site visitors interact with a prospect’s search experience. Customer success teams were also empowered to monitor customer sites and improve their search experiences.
Execution & Outcome
- New prospects and customers had an established baseline for website and search quality based on real-world metrics and experience
- Sales teams could quickly test and identify sub-par search experiences and take prospects through opportunity and areas of improvement with their actual site search pages
- Existing customers and success teams can automatically monitor their search experiences and make improvements to search features, tuning, and results
